c# - "Nuget failed to restore packages", but it worked fine before -

after corrupt registry warning @ boot up, succesfuly got pc running again restoring windows state before update. however, unknown reason, visual studio started behaving oddly. start didn't detect reference renci.ssh.net, though there. went in nuget package manager, uninstalled ssh.net, hope reinstall after , fine.

obviously, nothing went quite smoothly. if use package manager gui, visual studio tells me "failed restore package. restoring package modifications 'blankapplication'.". if use nuget console , type pm > install-package ssh.net, highlighted in red nightmare:

but makes no sense. worked minutes ago. i've tried uninstalling , reinstalling nuget, cleaning project, clearing related nuget in %appdata%, nothing works. also, please note happens if try , create new blank project.

edit: error happens microsoft.toolkit.uwp, same symptoms of supposedly not being compatible uap,version=v.10.0. had added package project before crash. don't issue other packages weren't installed.

i've found solution:

• download latest nuget.exe here

• clear nuget cache opening cmd admin nuget.exe is, , running nuget locals -clear

• reinstall on project. may take while, it's fixed issue.
• if system appears particularly unstable @ moment, create system restore point. never know.
